At Williams Accounting, Inc., our mission is to offer tax and accounting services that provide peace of mind and the highest level of customer service to individuals and small businesses.  Williams Accounting, Inc.’s roots began in 1985 when Lois Williams started her practice.  Over time, this practice grew and officially incorporated in 2016.  Our experience, approach and passion will help you navigate your tax and accounting needs.

Williams Accounting works with:

Individuals – our practice is built on helping individuals with their tax returns.  Our goal is to prepare each return accurately and as tax efficiently as possible.  We make sure the individual is as involved in the process as he/she would like to be so all questions and concerns are addressed.

Corporations/Partnerships/Sole Proprietors – our practice works with all types of business entities.  Whether you have a start-up company, small partnership, or multi-million dollar corporation, we will provide the appropriate service to resolve your tax and accounting needs.  We strive to have each client understand their options – from entity selection to asset purchases to tax strategies – in a way that allows all parties to be comfortable with the decision.

Estates/Trusts – our practice provides tax preparation services to ensure accurate and timely filing for estates and trusts.  We can help guide clients with decisions about distributions and the tax consequences of their decisions.

Our Team

Lois Williams

Lois started in the tax industry in 1985 and became an Enrolled Agent in 1987.  She started her own practice in 1988 and has grown it into Williams Accounting, Inc.  Her extensive experience allows Lois to handle all situations that clients encounter, and her personal touch creates a trusted relationship with her clients.

Lois earned a bachelor’s degree from Westminster College and a Master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She has served in various leadership roles in different community and church organizations.

 

Areas of expertise:

  • Tax return preparation – Lois prepares tax returns for customers ranging from individuals to multi-million-dollar corporations.
  • Tax planning – Lois regularly meets with clients, both corporate and individual, to develop strategies that minimize the tax impact of financial decisions.
  • Analyst – Lois helps small businesses and entrepreneurs analyze their business and determine ways to increase profit and efficiency.
  • Payroll – Lois works with companies ranging from 1 employee to 75 employees.
  • Bookkeeping – Lois provides bookkeeping services for profit and non-profit organizations.

Ryan Williams

Ryan has been in the tax industry since 2007.  Originally, he began on a part time basis, but moved into a full-time role in 2013.   After earning an Enrolled Agent designation in 2013, Ryan helped to form Williams Accounting, Inc in 2016.  Prior to his venture into tax and accounting, he worked at a large bank on the liability side of the Balance Sheet Management Team.

Ryan loves to help clients understand their taxes and the impact of their financial decisions.  It’s his passion to provide knowledge for his clients so the client can make the best decisions possible.

Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mount Union and has served in various leadership roles in different community and church organizations.

Melinda (Lindy) Eiben

Lindy started with Williams Accounting, Inc. in January of 2020.  Prior to that, she worked in the tax industry since 1995 and became an Enrolled Agent in 2011.  Lindy has worked with a wide range of clientele including individuals, partnerships, corporations, and estates/trusts.

Lindy’s experience allows her to handle all tax situations that clients encounter and develop long lasting relationships with her clientele.

Tim Black
Accountant

Tim started with Williams Accounting, Inc. in September of 2019.  Tim’s focus is on payroll and individual tax return preparation.  His background enables him to understand a wide range of clientele with a special focus on the relationship side of the business.  Currently, Tim is working towards his Enrolled Agent designation.

  • Bachelor’s degree, Penn State University

Areas of expertise:

  • Payroll –- Tim works with companies ranging from one employee to one hundred employees.
  • Tax return preparation – Tim prepares tax returns for individuals.
